Why we turn down half.

The roster is capped at one hundred. The waitlist is not the reason half of applicants hear no.

Around half of the models who apply to CreatorService are declined within 24 hours. It is the most misunderstood number on this site, so here is what is actually inside it.

Three honest reasons

First: we cannot see the path. Our model only works when we can take an account to the top 1%, because a commission on a small account is not worth the same floor, traffic unit and strategy time as a commission on a large one. Half-effort is a habit we refuse to learn.

Second: the boundaries don't fit. A model who wants full anonymity but whose growth path runs through her existing public audience is being sold a contradiction. Some agencies sell it anyway. We would rather explain it.

Third: capacity. One hundred models, never more. When the roster is full, strong applicants wait, and we tell them the truth about how long.

A "no" with a reason is worth more than a "yes" with a quota.

What the no includes

Every declined applicant gets the audit anyway: what we saw, what we would do in her place, which numbers to fix before trying again — alone or with anyone else. It costs us an hour and it is the reason a third of our roster is models who first heard no, changed one thing, and came back.

Start with an audit

A free audit. A straight answer. Within 24 hours.

We sign a handful of models each month, and only when we can see a path to the top 1%. If we can’t see it, we say so in the first reply.
